What is Following Distance?
What is Following Distance?
Updated over 11 months ago

Following Distance refers to the adjustable percentage set in relation to your Trailing Stop level.

For instance, imagine that the buying conditions for the X parity have been met, and a position is opened at a price of 100 units. If the Trailing Stop level is set at 5% and the Following Distance at 2%, the Following Distance is activated when the opened position exceeds the 5% level. Consequently, the position will be closed when it declines by 2% from any given level.
